Bobo’s

Tired of the usual Sunday morning breakfast routine, we decided to try an old favorite, Bobo’s. We used to go to enjoy Bobo’s a lot, but eventually Rebecca and I found and frequented a different restaurant closer to where we were living. I’m pleased to report that breakfast at Bobo’s was just as delicious as it was years ago, and the entire meal for the fam was less expensive than it would have been at any of our other regular breakfast spots. I ordered my standard country-fried-steak-smothered-in-tasty-gravy, two eggs over-well, fried potatoes, buttered white bread toast, a side of bacon (not too crispy, but cooked to perfection), and hot cup of coffee with plenty of cream. Mama.

Class Picnic

To celebrate my return to CDO and their departure to schools across the country (really an excuse to hang out with friends), several of my former students decided to throw a picnic party in my classroom at school. Brennan, one of my first APELCers, organized the get together that included old and new pupils; it felt nice to have earned the high praise of the gift of my students’ time. Good, sharp kids. I hope they do well.
