Third Anniversary

At 11:00 am on Saturday, March 28, 2005, Jennifer Rebecca Wallin and I were married at the Tucson Historic Depot on Toole Avenue . In addition to our witnesses and pastor, we were joined only by parents and a couple of close friends. There were no more than twelve of us present at the brief ceremony, and it was a good thing because it was a guerrilla wedding?we just showed up and hoped no one would tell us to beat it.
The custodian washing down the pavement near the tracks was nice enough to break for a few minutes to enjoy the ceremony, and we were please to be joined by father and daughter out for a downtown stroll who happened to walk up on the proceedings. Afterward we went to the Grill for burgers and tots. It couldn’t have been a better day.
